Customer service is very important to us so hopefully we have answered most of your common questions in the list below. If not please contact us and we would be happy to help you.

 

What is the minimum hire period?
The minimum hire period is 4 weeks.
 
How does the contract work?
The contract begins on the day of delivery, and is based on a 4 - week basis, if you commit to a longer term, hire rates will be reduced.
 
What is a week?
A week is 7 consecutive days including Saturday, Sunday and national holidays.
 
When do I pay for the equipment I hire?
For online purchases / hires payment can be made through our website via our secure payment section. For hires you may choose to pay in full for your hire period or for longer hire periods i.e. 12 / 16 weeks you may also pay in instalments. If you choose to pay in instalments, the minimum payment at time of booking is 4 weeks hire and your delivery charge. Additional payments will be taken every 4 weeks from the date of delivery for the agreed hire period. Your credit card information is not held by Tone at Home and is totally secure. Alternatively you may pay by card, cash or cheque (with cheque guarantee card) on delivery. For your convenience and security our drivers will have a hand held chip and pin for card payments.
 
What is the warranty policy?
We pride ourselves on our full 12 month warranty on all new machines and after sales service. If the machine develops a fault we will collect the machine from you, have it repaired, replacing any parts if needed, using our fully qualified technicians. If the machine cannot be repaired, we will replace it with a NEW machine. This service is all done with NO cost to you. We guarantee to provide the level of service, support and expertise you should expect from specialist. Ex hire sale warrantees will be agreed with you at the time of purchase and will be dependent on the machines age and length of time it’s been on hire.
 
I have seen similar machines cheaper on the internet from abroad?
Although these machines may look the same on the outside, they can be completely different internally. We have worked closely with our manufacturer who is contracted to supply only to Tone at Home to eradicate the common faults that are sometimes found in these machines, making sure the motor, drive system and gearboxes are of superior quality to any other machine on the market. Look out for other companies that offer a RTB warranty (which stands for return to base i.e. you pay to send it back to get repaired which can be a problem when the machine weighs 45kg, or even worse if the seller is based in the UK. Also most sellers send the machine out in a flat pack that requires you to assemble. With Tone at Home the machine is built correctly and delivered fully assembled by Tone@Home staff. Also, in these recessionary times it’s even more important to support Irish owned businesses that create employment in Ireland.
 
I haven't exercised for a while, what do you recommend?
We always recommend that customers consult their doctor as a precautionary measure before undertaking any physical exercise. Tone@Home staff are unable to give fitness / medical advice. However we do provide an online nutrition and training service through our website, Club Tone at Home.
 
I have a medical condition, and I'm not sure what would machine would be best?
Tone @ Home staff always recommend that you consult your doctor before taking part in any physical activity. Individual medical advice cannot be given.

How long will delivery take?
We will arrange a delivery day, and time to suit you. We usually deliver machines within 24hrs - 48hrs where at all possible.
 
Where do you deliver machines for hire to?
We deliver machines for hire almost Nationwide using our own vehicles and the machines are delivered by Tone At Home trained staff. Unfortunately at this time we do not deliver for hire to Donegal and Northern Ireland but we’re working on that!

Where do you deliver machines for sale to?
We deliver machines for sale Nationwide. The machines come fully assembled and our staff will set the machine up and give you a full demonstration. Please purchase through our secure online shop, or contact us. When we supply vibroplates to which we have attached Tone@Home exercise guide cards that can be attached to your machine for convenience. For sales to Donegal and Northern Ireland we can supply for sale but unfortunately the machines will need to be sent by courier flat packed.

Do you have any Safety Checks?
Yes every piece of equipment is thoroughly electrically checked prior to delivery. Our fully qualified technicians give a fully safety check including P.A.T Testing equipment to ensure electrical safety of all machines. All our machines are cleaned using anti-bacterial spray before every hire. Upon delivery our drivers will demonstrate how to use the machine, full safety instructions and user manuals will be supplied.

How do I return or cancel the equipment I've hired?
You need to give us 5 days notice if you wish to cancel before the end of your hire period and we'll arrange collection.
 

Is the equipment insured for loss or damage?
Tone@Home equipment is only insured at our premises and in transit. It is your responsibility to ensure that your own household insurance covers the equipment for any loss or damage, whilst the equipment is in your possession.

If I love the machine so much, can I buy it?
Yes, if you contact Tone@Home anytime during the hire, we will give you a quote to buy the machine, taking into account any hire fees already paid

Can I buy a new machine?
Yes, use our secure online shop, or contact us, and we will supply a new machine to you anywhere in the country!

What do I need to provide to hire a machine?
We will need to see a passport or drivers licence and proof of address, a current utility bill dated within the last 3 months. Our driver will take a copy of these for our security and files.
